On April 23 we celebrate William Shakespeare's Birthday and the English Language Day. Shakespeare’s influence on both world literature and the English language is immeasurable. His works, rich with depth and poetic brilliance, capture every facet of the human experience. Centuries later, his creations continue to inspire and shape the evolution of language and thought.
On this same day, April 23, the world also celebrates International Book Day, a day dedicated to emphasizing the importance of books, encouraging reading and writing, and recognizing their role in shaping intellectual and cultural growth. Books offer not only knowledge but also spark our imagination, deepen our understanding, and open doors to new worlds waiting to be explored.
Every year, students of ETI Holding celebrate William Shakespeare's Birthday, English Language Day, and International Book Day. On April 23, the students exchange books, discuss theri favourite books, characters, and authors, and make presentations.
