ETI Holding Students Enjoy a Tour of London’s Iconic Landmarks

As part of their exciting journey through the Stowe School Summer Programme, ETI Holding students had the chance to explore the vibrant city of London, experiencing some of its most iconic landmarks and attractions. The carefully planned tour allowed the students to immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of the British capital, with unforgettable visits to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Madame Tussauds Museum, and a scenic river cruise along the Thames.

The day started with a visit to the magnificent Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarch. The students were in awe of the palace's grand architecture and had the chance to learn about its historical significance. From there, they ventured to the iconic Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, two of London’s most recognizable symbols. The students marveled at the stunning Gothic design of Big Ben and the impressive stature of the Houses of Parliament, while learning about the political history of the United Kingdom.

The students then made their way to the London Eye, one of the world’s most famous Ferris wheels. From the top, they were treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the entire city, giving them a unique perspective of London's most famous landmarks. The experience was both thrilling and educational, allowing the students to see the city from above and gain a deeper appreciation for its layout and beauty.

Next on the itinerary was Madame Tussauds Museum, where students were delighted to encounter lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and famous characters from around the world. The museum provided a fun and interactive way for the students to engage with British culture and entertainment.

To cap off the day, the students enjoyed a serene river cruise along the Thames. This relaxing boat ride gave them a chance to see the city from a different angle, passing by many more famous landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the Shard. The cruise provided the perfect ending to an action-packed day of sightseeing.

Throughout the tour, the students were expertly guided and supervised by Ms. Nino Bolkvadze, who ensured that everyone was safe, engaged, and having a wonderful time. Her dedication and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, allowing the students to appreciate the historical and cultural significance of each landmark they visited.

The London tour was a highlight of the Stowe Summer Programme, offering the students a unique opportunity to experience the best of British history, culture, and architecture. ETI Holding is proud to offer such enriching experiences to its students, and we look forward to more exciting adventures in the future.
