Our Stdents Visitng EU Parliament

15 July

This summer, ETI Holding's group of talented and motivated students accompanied by our experienced teacher and group leader Ms Tea Mdinaradze, are participating in the renowned Intercamps Summer School in Brussels, Belgium. The trip provids a remarkable opportunity for our students to not only enhance their English-speaking fluency but also immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of Brussels. Over the course of their stay, they are experiencing an educational adventure that combined language development, cultural exploration, and fun-filled activities, making it an unforgettable summer for all involved.

In addition to the language lessons, the students have the chance to explore the beautiful city of Brussels and discover its rich cultural heritage. As the capital of Belgium and the heart of the European Union, Brussels offeres a unique blend of history, politics, and modernity that provides a fascinating backdrop for the students’ educational journey.

One of the highlights of the trip was the visit to the European Parliament, where our students had the chance to learn about the European Union, its institutions, and the decision-making processes that affect millions of people across Europe. The students were guided through the Parliament’s impressive chambers, where they had the opportunity to sit in the very rooms where important political discussions take place. The visit provided invaluable insights into European politics and the role that the European Parliament plays in shaping the future of the continent.

For many students, this is their first exposure to the workings of international governance. They are able to connect the concepts they have studied in school with real-world applications, deepening their understanding of democracy, governance, and the importance of political institutions in safeguarding human rights and freedoms. By participating in group activities, cultural exchanges, and excursions, the students learn to appreciate different cultures, perspectives, and traditions. This experience broadens their horizons and helps them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
