Happy Earth Day
As we celebrate Earth Day this week, the US Embassy hosted a virtual speaker program for high school and university students to discuss how environmental protection supports economic growth, energy security, and a healthy planet.

US Ambassador Degnan, USAID/Georgia Economic Growth Office Director Marika Olson, and Iryna Petriashvili from the Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association discussed how Americans and Georgians are working together to strengthen the ability of Georgia’s energy system to withstand outside influence and encourage private investment in renewable technologies
